Additional Services that might connect with ACA
Aside from ACA and IFP, individuals may be connected with Medicaid and/or Medicare. Others may be concerned about COBRA or have plans with an employer but are looking for cost-savings through the marketplace. Below list some scenarios but may require some assistance with me to go over the information in more detail.
COBRA and ACA
When faced with the decision between COBRA and ACA (Affordable Care Act) coverage, it's essential to understand the differences. Here's a breakdown:
COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act):
   - COBRA allows you to temporarily continue your employer-sponsored health insurance coverage after a qualifying event, such as job loss, reduced work hours, or other specific life events.

 - Essentially, you're keeping the same health insurance plan you had through your employer. * Duration: COBRA coverage is temporary, generally lasting 18 to 36 months, depending on the qualifying event.

ACA (Affordable Care Act):
   - The ACA offers health insurance plans through the Health Insurance Marketplace.

   - It provides options for individuals and families who don't have access to employer-sponsored coverage.

   - Cost: ACA plans may be more affordable than COBRA, especially if you qualify for premium tax credits (subsidies) based on your income.

 - Flexibility: You can choose from various plans with different levels of coverage.

   - Enrollment: ACA plans have open enrollment periods, but you may also qualify for a special enrollment period if you experience a qualifying life event, such as losing your job and health insurance.

CURRENTLY EMPLOYED vs Considering ACA
ACA accepts individuals to enrole in a marketplace plan should they believe they can receive cost-savings. However, it is not a guarantee that a plan would be accepted by the marketplace to receive the benefits if the employer has been discovered that their company approved Health Insurance plan is acceptable to what is considered qualified. I can assist questions concerning this by BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT with me.

IMPORTANT
Although the information provided can be helpful, it should not override human assistance and it can change at any time. I take heart to an individual's health and financial concerns toward Health Insurance as though I have them. I highly encourage you to BOOK AN APPOINTMENT with me to explore those options.
